Frida Kahlo is one of the most famous female artists in the world. She was born on 6th July 1907 in Mexico. As a child , Frida dreamed of becoming a doctor and in 1922 she begun studying Medicine.
Unfortunately, at the age of 18th , Frida was in a bus accident and spent a long time recovering in bed. When Frida was 21, she met the famous artist Diego Rivera. He recognised her talent encouraged her to keep painting. She also exhibited her work in Paris. Frida was weak throughout her life and she died in her hometown on 13th July, 1954. She was one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, not only in Mexico, but all around the world.
